Kuiper(SRON-Utrecht) The COMPTEL instrument aboard the {\em Compton\/} Gamma-Ray Observatory has been regularly measuring the locations (mean accuracy $\sim$1$\deg$) of cosmic gamma-ray bursts since it began operating in April 1991. A total of 27 bursts have been localized from the first four years of data and new bursts are observed on average every $\sim$1--2 months. The COMPTEL burst locations are consistent with an isotropic angular distribution of sources, yet the spatial coincidence of two of the bursts indicates the possibility of recurrence. We review recent results from the ongoing spatial analysis of existing COMPTEL bursts and give an update on new observations, including the search for fading optical and radio counterparts using rapidly-determined COMPTEL burst locations. -eof-
