EVP Selection Set Functions

Here are listed the various functions that are available via EVP selection sets. The actual code for these functions is contained in the routine PSSEVP, which is part of the DALSEL library.

SLECTALL
Selects all events.

D1EWNDOW
Permits a selection on D1 energy.
  • Parameter 1 - D1E minimum
  • Parameter 2 - D1E maximum

D2EWNDOW
Permits a selection on D2 energy.
  • Parameter 1 - D2E minimum
  • Parameter 2 - D2E maximum

ETOTWNDW
Permits a selection on total energy.
  • Parameter 1 - E-total minimum
  • Parameter 2 - E-total maximum

PHIBARWN
Permits a selection on phibar
  • Parameter 1 - phibar minimum (radians)
  • Parameter 2 - phibar maximum (radians)

CORTOFWN
Permits a selection on corrected ToF
  • Parameter 1 - ToF minimum
  • Parameter 2 - ToF maximum

CORPSDWN
Permits a selection on corrected PSD
  • Parameter 1 - PSD minimum
  • Parameter 2 - PSD maximum

EVENTLOC
Selects events within X-Y (radial) distance limits from module center ans within a selected lambda range. (Lambda is related to depth within the module by some as yet clearly defined relation.)
  • Parameter 1 - Lower limit of radial distance in D1
  • Parameter 2 - Upper limit of radial distance in D1
  • Parameter 3 - Lower limit on lambda in D1
  • Parameter 4 - Upper limit on lambda in D1
  • Parameter 5 - Lower limit of radial distance in D2
  • Parameter 6 - Upper limit of radial distance in D2
  • Parameter 7 - Lower limit on lambda in D2
  • Parameter 8 - Upper limit on lambda in D2

ARMWNDOW
Permits a selection on ARM value for each event, based on some user-specified source position.
  • Parameter 1 - X coordinate of the source.
  • Parameter 2 - Y coordinate of the source.
  • Parameter 3 - Z coordinate of the source.
  • Parameter 4 - Lower ARM limit (degrees)
  • Parameter 5 - Upper ARM limit (degrees)

PRCPARMS
Permits a selection on

MINITELE
Permits a selection on user-specified module selections.
  • Parameter 1 - D1 module selections for D1-1 through D1-7 (7-digit string)
  • Parameter 2 - D2 module selections for D2-1 through D2-7 (7-digit string)
  • Parameter 3 - D2 module selections for D2-8 through D2-14 (7-digit string)

TELESCOP
Permits a selection on various telescope event parameters. Requires VETO = 0.
  • Parameter 1 - D1E minimum
  • Parameter 2 - D1E maximum
  • Parameter 3 - D2E minimum
  • Parameter 4 - D2E maximum
  • Parameter 5 - ToF maximum
  • Parameter 6 - ToF maximum
  • Parameter 7 - REFLAG minimum (aka CPL - current processing level)

VETOEVTS
Permits a selection of veto events. If the single function parameter is set to '1', then only events with veto > 0 are selected. If the single funcion parmeter is set to '0', then only events with veto = 0 are selected.
  • Parameter 1 - Veto event flag

VETOFLGS
Permits a selection of events based on interactions in specific veto domes.
  • Parameter 1 - Veto dome 1 acceptance flag
  • Parameter 2 - Veto dome 2 acceptance flag
  • Parameter 3 - Veto dome 3 acceptance flag
  • Parameter 4 - Veto dome 4 acceptance flag

HORZNANG
Permits a selection on calculated earth horizon angle.
  • Parameter 1 - Lower limit on Earth horizon angle (inclusive)
  • Parameter 2 - Upper limit on Earth horizon angle (inclusive)

TELESCP2
Permits a selection on various telescope event parameters. Requires VETO = 0 and REFLAG (aka CPL) >= 10.
  • Parameter 1 - D1E minimum
