THE COMPTEL COLLABORATION

The COMPTEL collaboration is an international collaboration involving the following institutions:

  • The Max-Planck-Institut für extraterrestrische Physik (MPE) in Garching, Germany.
  • The Space Research Organization of the Netherlands in Utrecht, The Netherlands (SRON-Utrecht) .
  • The Institute for the Study of Earth, Oceans, and Space at the University of New Hampshire (UNH), USA.
  • The Space Science Department (SSD) of the Astrophysics Division of ESA/ESTEC in Noordwijk, The Netherlands.
    • The Principal Investigator of COMPTEL is Dr. Volker Schönfelder of the Max-Planck-Institut (MPE), Germany. Co-Principal Investigators are Dr. Wim Hermsen (SRON-Utrecht), Dr. James Ryan (UNH), and Dr. Kevin Bennett (SSD).
