Millimeter-wave behaviour of EGRET-detected and non-EGRET-detected AGNs

Abstract
We discuss the millimeter-wave radio behaviour of a selected sample of
southern and equatorial AGNs that have been in the EGRET field of view
during the CGRO Cycles 1-4 (as listed in the Third EGRET source
catalog).
We have studied some of the best sampled radio flux curves in
detail and have analysed the structure of their radio flares.
We discuss possible explanations to why some AGNs that are bright
and highly variable in the radio domain have not been detected with
the EGRET.
