Abstract
Results of observations of several X-ray transients with RXTE
in 1997-1998, namely, XTE J1748-288, GS 1354-64, 2S1803-245
and CI Cam, are presented. Light curves of the outbursts and
spectra are discussed in comparison with earlier observations.
Unique features for each system are mentioned. Special attention
is paid to CI Cam as possible legate for new class of X-ray transients.
